Fiat Marea

I highly doubt you will find many other classic car specialists listing the humble Marea proudly on their website, but we’ve always done things a little differently around here.

A development of the Bravo/Brava, the Marea came in both saloon and estate guises (the load-lugger reviving the Weekend title from Fiat’s history). Sadly its run was short lived even in its native Italy, only seen in dealerships for five years from 1997 until 2002 and in the UK, the Marea has by now all disappeared. It’s a shame though, because the ones we had back when they were still nearly new were all comfortable, capable and well equipped motorway devourers. In fact, a decent 2.0 20V powered Weekend is still pretty high on our shopping list (and we’ve got some new door handles ready to replace that awful peeling rubber already!).
