Fiat Uno
Back when we started this crazy journey, Luke and I created a list of Italian cars we wanted to tick off the list, give some pampering and get up to our standard. By now, more years later than we’d like to admit, we’ve worked our way through it and have had great fun along the way. There is one particular model, though, that has always eluded us; the Fiat Uno Turbo. We’ve driven them, can remember our father selling them brand new and have seen literally hundreds - but we’ve not yet owned one. If you know of one (especially a Mk1 in Delphi Blue), please let us know and put us out of our misery.
The Turbo might have escaped us, but we’re pleased to say we’ve not been completely Uno-less.

A last minute eBay discovery practically on our doorstep, we couldn’t believe our luck when we found this little gem. 31k miles from brand new and almost untouched, it was as close to time-warp condition as we’d ever seen. Plus the chap we purchased it from was even more of a Fiat aficionado than ourselves - this was something crazy like his 18th (!) Uno. The only stipulation he made before handing the keys over was to make us promise we weren’t going to use the shell to plop a Turbo engine in. He had little fear of that with us!
