Well, how’s this for a blast from the italicar past?

A few years back a well-known motoring journalist came to us with an odd request. He loved the 156, particularly the smooth performance from the 2.5 V6 “Busso” versions but also really admired the sharp restyling of the facelifted models. Unfortunately, though, this combination was never actually produced in RHD guise. Always up for a challenge here, we set about building him his ultimate 156.

And thus, the “Progetto 156” facelift was born.
