Advertising this stunning Fiat Coupe 2.0 20V Turbo is the culmination of a long journey for us here at italicar.
We’ve been maintaining it since way back in 2016 when its then owner bought if after narrowly missing out on an Ink Black 20VT we had restored (see here). A low mileage example, even back then, and refreshingly unadorned with any modification or alteration from factory standard, we always told him that if he was ever to sell it, we had to buy it. So, when he decided to move on a couple of years back, it was welcomed under our stewarship and we set about treating it to a full renovation.
Fast forward and it now stands in fantastic condition. As well as it should be, having covered just 69k miles from new and recently being lavished with literally hundreds of man hours, several thousand pounds’ worth of parts and no shortage of blood, sweat and tears. It has been fully repainted (glass out and trim off - no shortcuts here!), wheels refurbished and we even went to the extremes of removing the entire dash to tighten up a single loose nut on an air-conditioning pipe! The timing belt was brand new just 4k miles ago, the clutch was replaced 14k miles ago and it has been fully protected with Dinitrol’s anti-corrosion treatment to ensure it remains looking this sublime. There’s a huge pile of paperwork backing this pampering up and the service book is full up with no fewer than fifteen stamps (seven of these courtesy of a main dealer and the remainder courtesy of respected Coupe specialists - including our own).
After all this care and attention, it must leave this as one of the very best examples of a geniune modern classic you could hope to find. The Rosso Corsa paintwork is absolutely sumptuous, the wheels untouched and everything works precisely as it should. Taking a look at the video above or any of the photos will give you an idea of how well it looks - but you’ll have to book your test drive in to experience just how rewarding this Coupe is to drive.
